Method 1, Calibre Plugin Method

Calibre is the best ebook manager and converter, download Calibre.

Step 1, Download Calibre plugins (for Windows, for Mac).

step 2, Plugins Installation:

Under "Advanced" click on the Plugins button.

Use the "Load plugin from file" button to select the plugin's zip file (like ineptepub_v01.7_plugin.zip) and click the 'Add' button. you're done.

Step 3, Setting.

When the plugin installed, it will be showed in the plugins list, double click it(or click "Customize plugin") to set informations.

For decrypting Kindle ebooks, you need input kindle serial number.

For decrypting Nook or eReader ebooks, yuo need input Credit Card Number and Name in B&N account.

Step 4, Remove DRM from eBooks.

Drag all books to calibre, all done!

Method 2, Python Scripts.

All eBook DRM Removal tools are Python Script.

Calibre plugins are also python scripts, but not GUI.

Here are the python scripts have friendly GUI.

For running Python Scripts, you need install Python at first.

Download Python python-2.6.2.msi

Pycrypto is DRM Encryption and Decryption module, download pycrypto-2.1.0.win32-py2.6.exe, all the DRM tools include this module, so, you must download and install it.

For mac user, you need to search Python and Pycrypto online.

After python environments prepared, download and run DRM Removal tools (for Windows, for Mac):

Remove DRM from Adept ePUB

Run ineptkey_v5.4.pyw to generate Adept key(adeptkey.der).

It requires you have install Adobe Digital Editions and authorized with your Adobe ID.

When adeptkey.der generate succeed, run ineptepub_v5.6.pyw, input Key file, Input file and output file, then click "Decrypt".

All done.

Remove DRM from Adept PDF

Run ineptkey_v5.4.pyw to generate adept Key, the same as remove drm from adept epub.

keep ineptpdf_v7.11.pyw and ineptkey_v5.4.pyw in same directory, it's easy to find adeptkey.der file.

Click "..." to browse file, then click "Decrypt", all done.

Remove DRM from Nook ebooks

Note: not all ebooks purchased on B&N are protected by Nook, when you purchase ebook on B&N, here are two methods need you to choose, Adept DRM and Nook DRM. If choose Adept DRM, use Remove DRM from Adept ePUB method, if choose Nook DRM, follow as below:

Run ignoblekeygen_v2.3.pyw, input your Credit Card Number and Name(Billing card and name) to generate nook key, the scripts just generate nook key file, not record any information.

Run ignobleeput_v3.4.pyw, choose nook key file and input output file, click "Decrypt", if failed, please regenerate your nook key file.

Remove DRM from Kindle AZW/Mobi/Topaz/Prc books

View the GUI, you may confused, it's so hard to use, please pay more patience.

PID: any ebooks has one PID binded, it's hard to find. Search it on Google.

Kindle Serial Number: To confirm which Kindle you have, look at the serial number on the back at the bottom (for Kindle 1, it's under the back cover). You should also be able to find it on the Kindle packaging. Since firmware 2.5, it is also shown in the Settings page on your Kindle. This is also the only place you'll be able to check your S/N on a Kindle 3. View Wiki.

Kindle.info: It contains all PIDs, when Kindle for PC/Mac installed, the file will be created.

If you transfer books from Kindle Reader, then input Kindle Serial Number, if you use Kindle for PC/Mac to sync the books to computer, then you need to find PIDs or Kindle.info.

If you can't find the PIDs and Kindle.info or have some trouble with this script, please use the Method 3 as below.
