  1) Erstellt: EFI System Partition
  2) Installation von Grub

grub-install /dev/sda5 --boot-directory=/boot/efi/EFI --bootloader-id=grub --no-floppy --recheck
                                    OR
grub-install /dev/sda1

Ergebnis:
nstalling for i386-pc platform.
grub-install: Warnung: Dateisystem »ext2« unterstützt keine Einbettungen.
grub-install: Warnung: Einbettung ist nicht möglich. GRUB kann in dieser Konfiguration nur mittels Blocklisten installiert werden. Blocklisten sind allerdings UNZUVERLÄSSIG und deren Verwendung wird daher nicht empfohlen..
grub-install: Fehler: mit Blocklisten wird nicht fortgesetzt.

o.k. bis "starten im EFI-Modus"

grub_custom.efi is Shellx64.efi wanted by ASUS NVRAM
auf USB-Stick mit ds. Namen kopiert, 
Aufruf der Shell im ASUS NVRAM "Exit-Menü" ok., 
grub prompt erscheint.

aber: 
grub-probe --target=device /boot/efi/efi/grub/grub.efi
Fehler: grub-probe wird nicht gefunden
