This is an DTDNS.com updater for Linux. 
you can use it in crontab without the Verbose mode.

dtdnsupdate is GPL'd software.  See the file, 'LICENSE', for details.

Installation:

Type ./configure at a bash prompt or shell command

Use:

dtdnsupdate supports a few command line parameters:

** means required
-u or --username     sets the hostname to update (ie - theedge.dtdns.net) **
-p or --password     sets the password to use **
-i or --ip           optional, sets a specific ip address to update with 
-v or --verbose      optional, verbose operation
-h or --help         displays brief help

Examples of use:

dtdnsupdate -u test -p mypass -i 255.255.255.255 -v

dtdnsupdate --username test --password mypass
