open_crypted_logical_volume manual

1. to activate crypted Volume
open LUKS device as mapping <name> # name eg. LapTop-1
( LapTop-1 = <volume-group-name> in crypted volume /dev/sda7 )
	cryptsetup luksOpen /dev/sda7 LapTop-1 
( asks for passphrase )


2. shows / activates all LogicalVolumes
	vgchange -ay -v 


3. scans all diks for VolumeGroups and rebuild caches
	vgscan -v
3a.	reports information about VolumeGroups
	vgs -av
3b.	check VolumeGroup metadate 
	vgck -v [VolumeGroupName]
3c. to show LogicalVolumes in VolumeGroup "LapTop-1":
	ls /dev/LapTop-1 # <volume-group-name>
	(answer: root swap)


4. mount crypted LogicalVolume:
mount -v -t ext3 /dev/LapTop-1/root /media/tst
